EVENT: Human Rights and Diplomacy in the Age of Trump

Human Rights and Diplomacy in the Age of Trump

Five Rights, a new campaign aimed at promoting more competitive UN elections and human rights, is holding an event in the House of Lords on Tuesday 5 December. The event is being hosted by Baroness Smith and will be held at 16:00 in Committee Room 4 of the House of Lords. It will take the form of a panel-discussion with speakers including Carne Ross and Professor Stephen Hopgood, Baroness Smith and remarks from the campaign’s Chair, Baroness Falkner. It will highlight some of the ways in which the UN system is failing, could be improved and more broadly reflect on human rights and diplomacy in the Trump era. Space is limited, so please RSVP to ted@fiverights.org  by Friday 1st December.
