Mexican Tall Ship Visits London

Mexico’s ARM Cuauhtemoc sailing tall ship known as Ambassador and Gentleman of the Seas arrived in London on 7 June. Stopping at West Indian Dock in Canary Wharf, the crew of 252 sailors were welcomed by naval, local and diplomatic representatives, as well as members of the Mexican community. Leading a tour on board, tall ship commander Pedro Mata Cervantes explained how the ship has been carrying a message of peace and goodwill whilst visiting Panama, Colombia, Cuba, the US and Canada.
