propertyThe Reserve’ at Al Barari: unparalleled luxury living in Dubai

‘The Reserve’ is an exceptional new collection of high-end bespoke villas in Dubai’s coveted Al Barari estate. The concept was announced in 2012, and, since then, 14 villas have emerged from the ground with a further 14 still in development.

In accordance with his own definition of ‘luxury’, CEO of Al Barari Mohammad Zaal has brought to life a serene development where the small details are the absolute priority. He explains: ‘Luxury is not a number, it is a lifestyle. It is not about being the biggest or the brightest or the first, it is about the subtle details that differentiate the ordinary from the extraordinary.’

With Dubai realising its potential as a truly international centre of financial and cultural significance, this development is changing the perception of Dubai as a transient place to visit or temporarily settle. The villas feature sophisticated yet understated luxury, enhanced living space, and integration with the natural environment, making the development one of the least densely populated urban areas in the United Arab Emirates.

Newcomers, as well as long-term residents, seek a more considered, pared-back and understated luxury, focused on the details that define quality of life; enhanced living spaces, integration with the natural environment and a home finished to their own tastes. With public gardens that facilitate a sense of security and kinship between neighbours, Dubai is changing, growing, and diversifying in parallel with the evolving tastes of the city’s affluent buyers.

Located in the royal enclave of Nad Al Sheba and accessible by the Emirates Road, ‘The Reserve’ is only 10 minutes from downtown Dubai, making it a green haven within a metropolis. Designed and constructed by local contractors, the development strikes the balance between convenience and customisation as buyers are able to complete their homes according to personal tastes.

Al Barari features four villa styles: Amber, Onyx, Emerald and Topaz. Each showcases the best of contemporary and traditional design, maximising light and space, and projecting a fusion with nature. Villas have six spacious bedrooms, all with en suite bathrooms and walk-in wardrobes, study with en suite, formal and family living areas, two fully equipped kitchens, basement, roof terraces, garage space for four cars, and separate self-contained living quarters for staff.

Furthermore, six themed gardens connected by common parklands and meandering streams form tranquil areas of rest and inspiration. Set within the heart of the blossoming gardens, The Farm is an innovative dining concept dedicated to serving fresh, locally sourced produce through a varied and imaginative menu that echoes its natural surroundings.

Finally, residents can enjoy facilities including a large communal pool, fully equipped gym and fitness centre with sauna and steam room and two tennis courts. Further developments for the Al Barari community include a spa and health club which are due to be delivered this year, signature retail outlets and a boutique hotel.

Plot sizes range from 21,000 square feet up to a generous 75,000 square feet and have a market value starting from £2.5 million.
