St Lucia Appeal

ST LUCIA APPEAL

High Commissioner for St Lucia Mr Eldridge Stephens OBE has called on all nationals and friends of St Lucia to help the High Commission in raising funds for his country following the devastation caused to the island by Hurricane Tomas in October. The High Commissioner has appealed ‘to all St Lucians to remain united and focused to ensure that we get maximum returns from all our planned relief activities.’

Items needed include: water containers; canned foods (especially evaporated milk); dry food stuffs; batteries; flasks; small transistor radios; lanterns or flash lights; cleaning supplies; sanitary wipes; hand sanitisers; blankets and bedsheets; sleeping bags; children’s disposable diapers and wipes; infant food and formula; female sanitary products; adult disposable diapers; and toiletries such as toothpaste, soap and toothbrushes.
